London, UK: The Wine Pantry

The Wine Pantry is a small wine bar and shop that carries only British wines and foods – “British” wines because they have Welsh as well as English products. There’s a very good range by the glass and a wall full of bottles. I took the opportunity to try half a dozen English sparkling wines (they have dozens on offer), as well as some still whites, rosés, and reds. And they do a couple of good platters: meats and cheeses, all British.
